All of Apogee's nurses are ACLS certified.

ACLS stands for Advanced Cardiac Life Support. ACLS training provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage adult patients with ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia arrest. They are also expected to learn to manage a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest, four types of pre-arrest emergencies and stroke.

ACLS certification is a voluntary continuing education program that our nurses complete on an annual basis as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest level of care for our patients.
